Dog and cat owners are now able to travel with their pets on our crafts under the Pet Travel Scheme (PETS).

To qualify for travel under the scheme, dog and cat owners will need:

• A veterinary certificate to show that their dog or cat has been fitted with a microchip, vaccinated against rabies, and successfully blood tested
• A veterinary certificate to show that their dog or cat has been treated against ticks and tapeworm in the period 24-48 hours before entry to the UK
• A declaration by the owner that the animal has not been outside the qualifying countries in Western Europe in the six months before entry.
